has anyone ever suffered with having ' noisy neighbours'

how did you cope with it?....luckily in my small block of apartments, just 4 storeys, im on the 3rd floor...my neighbours are mostly quiet and private, keep themselves to themselves...so it is quiet on the whole but in the past i did suffer with having noisy neighbours and it was hell...as i value my peace and quiet and cannot understand people who like to make loud noise......luckily the council got rid of them as i never stopped complaining about it.
