How To Have Perfect Peace

I was drinking way too much after getting married after figuring out I shouldn’t have married him. I was in denial I suppose. But tried to stick it out anyway. I had several black-out spells too. After I destroyed my expensive soft contact lens and didn’t have money to replace them I prayed to God to help me stop drinking. And just like that I did, it was easy and I thought it wouldn’t be. Just a mustard grain of faith at that. I had to defend myself from those who were my friends and wanted me to come over and drink with them at parties. I would come and not drink and they didn’t like it. I was quite witty and amusing and would expand my vocabulary with large words and phrases that I otherwise wouldn’t use in ordinary conversation. They got a big kick out that. I wouldn’t talk that way around people in normal conversation when sober due to not wanting to be arrogant sounding around them and making them feel bad.

it is true for me too, whenever i study the bible, afterwards my heart feels at peace. i think of reasons not to do, and i forget how it makes me feel. i think to myself i dont want to do it, i'd rather go do something else, but it doesn't make me feel content.

Amen, we feel it and even with the year's tragic events, Non-Christians saw the perfect peace in my wife!
