There's a time and a place for anything human. Montaigne would have agreed with that though he knew that love came with hurt too. Well, there's this perfect ancient place to just go to and meditate and I want to tell you about it while I have the free time to do that. I went to the island for an week stay many moons ago and it was time well spent. I reflected on the sandy beaches at the Irish Sea, ate and spoke there heartily with everything Scottish, and then finally prayed a lot after a long walk taking pictures with my beloved camera. It's a quiet island in Scotland where a monastery was once built by St Columba. It is now often visited by pilgrims and a few go there to study the Bible and pray, which may lead to spiritual growth. The locally grown Iona Community, founded in 1938 by George MacLeod, is an ecumenical Christian community of men and women from different walks of life and different traditions within Christianity. Its commitments go out to justice, peace and wholeness which is part of Community Rule. But yes, although Iona Abbey is the spiritual home of this ecumenical Christian religious order, its headquarters is indeed rather in Glasgow
