9/11 is approaching.

I was a couple hundred miles away and gave blood for what was expected to be a massive number of victims to be transported to hospitals in my area. Sadly, there were very few survivors, though the death toll was much lower than it would have been later in the day when more people would have been inside of the buildings.

Surprising that that event became to my generation what the Kennedy assassination was to another generation. Anyone who was alive that day of school age or older knows where they were when they heard about the attack. I watched the second plane hit the world trade centre and the building collapse live on television.

I was at work what I'm doing is telling my 18year old twins the story keeping alive how wrong that was and who did it! We will never forget

I remember that morning well. I woke up and turned on the tv and it was showing the first tower burning second tower yet to be hit. I watched all morning. I was 18.

I was not there, but I will never forget all the horror of it. There really isn't anything much I can do about, except remember.
