Just repeat "mhmm" & "damn, that's crazy" every now & then. Look her in the eyes here & there too. That way you don't have to pay attention but she'll still think you are. I do it sometimes tbh. When people are so wrapped up in their own rants, they don't even notice you're barely listening. They're just happy being able to talk
