Tantric Meditation 004
Ive been meditating almost every day now. Ive focused on moving Shakti up to the third eye. However, I focused on the profound peace that comes at the end of every in or out breath.
Once I got a kind of stable mind with few or no thoughts, I could feel it, but then I remembered some advice Wallis had, which was to relax your jaw. It was like day and night. After relaxing my jaw, I really fell deeper into a sense of peace. Before, it was like that ahhh feeling after hitting the couch after a workout. However, now its like blissful serenity. By relaxing more, I also could feel shakti more intensly in my channel. It was more visceral as well.
So, I did the 5 senses meditation where I focus on one sense at a time. However, I kind of fade one out and gently bring the next sense in on the transitions. This was nice. I just focused on everything at once for each sense. However, when I got to the last part when I focus on the emptiness underlying everything, I fell into that emptiness and went into a kind of deep trance. The trance just getting deeper and deeper. It felt like falling. This went on until my sense of self left me. Then I returned back to normal a few moments later when I opened my eyes.
The second time, I did the five senses, but this time I felt the blissful serenity I talked about earlier. So, when I paid attention to the profound peace instead of emptiness, my mind gently dissolved into that, and it was like I was hugged in a blanket of warm mothetly love. I had no sense of self. It was great. I still feel peaceful and calm hours later.
Ill try to produce the 5 sense meditation a few more times and move on to the next meditation.
