I Wish I Was In a Great Relationship

I'm 26 years old, and I feel that every women that's in my age group, and is single, is single for a reason. Like they're so unbelievably self centered/mentally ill, or have unrealisticly high standards. While those same women have nothing (no money,no physical items, not very physically attractive), but they expect men to have ALL of that? Do single women roughly my age, or older feel the same about single men in their age group?

Most people are shallow and dopey sadly.

I was hoping by age 26, people would be out of that. I was mistaken apparently.

@SW-User Ugh, I'm fed up with these people's self centeredness, and how materialistic they are. It's like everything I do isn't enough, and everything is my fault no matter how much it is not my fault.

I understand that :( its so discouraging . @ScottyTaco

@SW-User like my ex quit her job At a gas station in october, and didn't get another job until the end of November which she only made like $9.50 an hour. During the time she didn't have a job her car broke down, and she had no money, so I paid for the repairs, and parts. Also, she didn't have money to get her animals food, so I bought all of her animals like 2 months worth of food. Then she has an attitude with me saying that I ignore her, and I wasn't there for her, and she broke up with me. It's got me SOO confused.

Aww. Maybe she meant emotionally? Or she wanted a different type of attention? ( im just guessing) Im sorry though. Seems like you did care. @ScottyTaco

My sister-in-law has one dog (family), two parakeets, and she is already laying claim to my cockatiel (to which I told my brother it will be HIS if I die before he does. You would think I had one foot already in the grave and waiting for a push.) Pet food isn't cheap, in any case. I admire you for taking care of animals that can't wait on themselves.

@MaryJanine That's not good. Also, thanks. I treated her animals like they were mine.

And I am sure they knew that, too. Pets always know who is good to them. Not just feeding or walking them, either. They return that love - mostly, with their eyes. My sister-in-law doesn't understand that. She will stare at Lucky (the dog) and he will eventually look up at her like, what do you want? And she screams at him, "Don't DO that! Don't STARE at me!" I know all the dogs I ever had did that to me, saying I-love-you that way. You are good to animals, and they try to tell you in the only way they know how.
