I let someone in once and they betrayed me I learned a harsh lesson about letting people in and now people have to work extremely hard to get into my soul and my heart take this as a lesson learned and just be more careful about opening your heart again

Well you could stay away from romance completely but that only guarantees being alone..

It's probably a better plan not to give anyone everything, that way if they leave, you don't lose everything.

@Candilla Maybe work a little on your own self worth, sounds like you don't think a whole lot of yourself and that will always affect what others think of you. Nobody else can make you whole, just remember that and you will make yourself whole.
