I Wish I Was In a Great Relationship

my bf wants to build our future by saving to purchase a piece of land. He asked me to take a loan n give him half the money to assist him in getting this land, since he wont get a loan as he dont have a savings as his work has been slow for almost two years. He will.pay back his half of the loan. I didn't take the loan and now he's pissed. He said that we are still together but not treated each other w even a bday present. The thing is my name wasnt gonna be on the land.

You did the right thing money and relationships do not mix well. How much money are we talking about did he even try for a loan? And the loan has to be paid back and that will be on you. Be careful he may try some other way. I hope your bank account is only yours no joint accounts and no joint credit cards?

@updown2020 yeah no joint. Its just that I dont think he's into me...I asked a close friend abt it..and he was surprised that my bf will ask me to do that.
However, I'm ok with supporting my bf, but i dont see how this deal is good for me.

@destinyfabulous Well it not good for you I am sorry look at the writing on the wall he want's your money not you because if he was a honest guy he would have insisted your name be on the deed of the property and fact it's not is a bad sign. Keep an eye on your check book and change your pin on your atm card
