I Wasted My Time On Someone

It’s been 4 days since we’ve had contact. Idek why i keep count . I want it to represent growth but it feels more like a sad reminder that I wasn’t good enough.

Today was the day. He called. I Let it go to voicemail. I don’t know if bc I finally gave someone a chance to show me what kindness was that I somewhat don’t care. I still check and replay it. Like somehow that will make me want to to respond but for once I think my heart and my head have finally agreed if you love someone you have to let them go.
(Haha that’s a joke , right?)
