Are you currently in or have ever been in a silent divorce?

My wife left me eight months ago. She has her place and I have mine. All of our bills are our own. My kids are from my previous marriage and we don't have any together. She says she wants to be friends, but that's kind of shaky because she also told me that we are not getting back together. I kind of wish she'd just serve me papers. I need some kind of closure.
