I feel bad for some married dudes out there

I work around a lot of people, and people like to talk. This one married couple works in the same building, but different departments, and I overhear a lot. For instance, he's tired of a dead bedroom, nothing but plain vanilla if he gets any at all, and his wife outright refuses to do anything different than lying in bed. The wife, however, loves to brag about all the fun she had, the wild things she did in the past, and how she misses those days. Also about how her husband is stable, but not exciting.

I'm sure couples have all sorts of problems but come on lady. Don't just rely on your husband to do everything, you gotta bring some of that spice into the marriage yourself. This is how divorce and cheating starts.

I really wish marriages were judged less by their duration and more by their quality. I wish it was more socially acceptable to just open up a marriage to new people or move on altogether. Sometimes when the fire's gone, it's just gone forever.

@BlueVeins One on hand, makes me happy I'm not married. But on the other, seeing this stuff (and plenty more like it) reminds me that, if I ever do get married, that it's a two-way street and I can't expect an ATM.
