It does go both ways, I can't say I've ever had intention of getting married. I did propose once, it was done in passion and not a mistake in that I loved her, but it was a mistake in another way.

That said, I have never ever cheated on someone. I have been cheated upon. So I know men get blamed this way, and I accept my faults, but ..... .... ....

Though personally, I did forgive her, and even though we are not together anymore, I am happy I did cause we did learn much about each other together in that time.

So I guess it depends on perspective?
