This is about to be cringey in its effusive, ebullient, effervescent alliterativeness, but..

When I first came to SW, I was really sad and mad about EP going down. I feel they mined so many writings of ours, and they never sent me the downloads like they said they would. I had put soo much of me into that site, and the writings I lost, as well as all the online friends I lost (they DO count idc idc)!

I also was extremely lonely when I abandoned SW and came back like 6 years later. For some weird reason, @Degbeme and @Bexsy reached out to me on a comment thread, and we decided that I was Bexsy's mom (she is in her 50s..I am in my 40s..it was cosmic..don't ask me about the science, or about how Deggy clearly groomed me when I was underage), and Deggy was my Baby Daddy. Somehow Deggy, who is in his 70s, and me.. kinda averaged our ages to make Bexsy (???).

All this to say, they welcomed me here when I was really needing friends. I had had quite a following on EP, but it hadn't quite translated here...and my family entirely disowned me for calling out their abuse, esp after I was raped. I have friends irl, don't get me wrong..but there is something about being somewhat anonymous that really helps us connect without distraction, I feel.

Just wanted to say thank you to them, and many others along the way who supported me through a crazy boss, crazy family dynamics, etc. I love you guys.

I was coming out of what I still fondly refer to "the worst heartbreak in the history of the universe" when I stumbled onto EP and sure enough gradually found many ways to connect,laugh,ruminate and share my emotions.It was my first time not drinking myself insane over a breakup and the bits of support and encouragement I gleaned from the community really helped me examine and discard some old patterns.

Somewhere along the journey I ran into you and ooh la la was that delightful.
You have a rare wit and way with words plus your snark was invariably tempered with deep compassion and a respectful ear for hearing the other folks out,which I see as a healthy quality to cultivate in this day and age...unless they was fuckwits,in which case woe was unto them.

I'll always be glad to call you a friend,deep gratitude for the words we've tossed around.

@dubkebab awww dubby thank you so much; so glad to know ya. YOUR way with words has always FAR exceeded mine..and yeahh i have a bit of an irish tempwr to me, but i do like to "temper" that temper where i can lmao. i was actually looking up suicide methods when i found EP 😔😪
They're great. @Bexsy @Degbeme. I'm happy you at least have such a good SW family.
@NudasPriest you're great too, and part of my sw family

@NudasPriest Thank you.
there is great bond between many here. sometimes even better than real life friends because there are things that i can say in here, but, could never share in real life.

@foldedunfolding i know its doubtful, but, i would love to meet alot of these folks in person. it would be a good laugh. maybe a fight or two. definitely some passed out in the parking lot. LOL

@foldedunfolding You're most welcome!, honestly sometimes people get lucky to find good, kind heart people they bond/click with. You definitely got lucky in someways.
I was not much familiar with EP, it was taken down within few months of joining and eventually when i did find SW I got on here, and met some kind hearted people at a very low time of life when i wanted to end my life, it was a very difficult time. Thank god for those lovely friends. Then I also left you, and just returned a month ago.
