There was a great “sexless marriage” group/forum on this site’s predecessor, EP (Experience Project). Quite a few of the people you meet here will have migrated from there to here.

Sexless marriage is tough. It’s abuse. I chose, at great expense, to go the divorce route. Truthfully, it’s like being reborn. The sun just seems to shine brighter.

You can find happiness too, but you’re going to need a plan that doesn’t include your partner. It likely should include a therapist and a good lawyer.

It must be frustrating and stressful. It’s hard to give any advice as everyone’s situation is different. Plus people find different ways to deal with it. There are many factors involved and need to know more about your situation.

I'm sorry. I know how horrible it is to live this way. I'm not looking forward to our 20th wedding anniversary in a couple months. It's just sad and awkward.

I hope you can find what you're looking for here. There are some very good people on this site. Nothing truly fills that emptiness, but sharing with others in the same situation helps.

well I'm a little older than you. For me... not since 2006, so about the same. Cancer doesn't always give you back the same person. You're still young.

I've been married 38 years, and the marriage has been sexless for the last 19 years. I've also become aware in that time that I'm sexually attracted to men and not really sexually attracted to women (though I can admire the female body, I don't want to have sex with women). I love my wife, and would not seek to divorce her....but it is indeed a lonely situation.

The only advice I can offer is to expand your choice of Forums to the particular sexual fetishes or type of sex you would like to have in your life. This way the algorithm will populate your feed with member profiles who may interest you. Starting from this common ground, you may find those who can truly understand your situation.

I was in a sexless marriage for a few years . I tried everything I could to get her interested in sex . But , to no avail . We were married for 8 years and the last 6 were sexless . We got divorced in 2010 . I am now 63 and she’s 60 . Still friends but , not close .
