The only time it worked for me on SW is writing a longer shared story because I can't put my thoughts into words and type quickly enough to keep the intensity up so that both of us stay aroused in the moment. My husband and I used to act out roleplay scenes though and that was hot.

A lot of people think role play is easy,
But honestly you need a good imagination especially when you are role playing online.
In person role playing depends on how well you can play along and is a different category.
