What is your longest you went on without relationship? How can it affect?

Almost never. I jumped from one to another. All I stayed with for a while, but apparently I like to let people take advantage of me and finally leave when somebody “nice” enters the chat. Don’t recommend doing that, pretty sure it’s unhealthy.

First 38 years of my life.

Never been in relationship, so can't say about the difference. Not saying it's a good or bad experience. But I can say, if you learn to understand and manage yourself, it's doable and you can go with it.

2 years had a lot of short-term relationships. In the two years without a relationship I had sex, but nothing ever lasted more than a couple of dates so I wouldn’t say that was not a relationship.

Years. 4 and still running gloriously solo.

And what is it's affect ?

It made me love me for me..... not for what i did for others.

Im also independent. Still learning some much needed life skills... But the point is im learning.

It also has given me time to love my own company.
And know myself thru me....not thru others eyes.

It has made me calmer and less reactive.

About 2 years. I enjoyed my time alone and had fun travelling and for a time, didn't want to look for anyone.

We started dating when we were 15 and we have been in a relationship with each other for 50 years with no breaks.

Like an involved relationship? I spent years reveling in “meaningless overnight relationships “!!!!

Well for my sister it makes her lonely and angry .. envious
