Loss of friends

I have recently lost 3 good friends due to who I voted for. I’ve known these 3 ladies for 18 years and we were very close. I can’t tell you how shocked I was, and sad. They have known for years who o supported, but this year they decided to cut ties with me bc their candidate lost. Anyone else gone through this?

I don’t blame them one bit. It’s like knowing someone who decided they were going to support Adolf Hitler. You may feel bad, but I can only imagine how disappointed they must be to have found out who you really are. 😞
