A lot of people supposedly are going through that.
If you look at how tRump is, it is no wonder some people want nothing to do with his supporters.
There is this huge stigma around tRump. Supporting him is similar to being buddies with the bad manager at work.
A vote for tRump is a vote for bigotry, a vote against women's rights, and especially against LGBT rights. Also a vote against immigrants.

That was more of a courtesy than a lot of people give when cutting ties.
Supposedly the reason a lot of people voted for him is because they think he will magically fix the economy. Not likely to happen. I imagine most of his voters didn't see nor hear anything else he had to say.
I have kept this as civil as I can, but I will admit I enjoy it when trump voters find themselves losing friends, being cut out of wills, etc.
