Loss of friends

I have recently lost 3 good friends due to who I voted for. I’ve known these 3 ladies for 18 years and we were very close. I can’t tell you how shocked I was, and sad. They have known for years who o supported, but this year they decided to cut ties with me bc their candidate lost. Anyone else gone through this?

Well, i can guess your party and theirs. Their party is in the habit of cutting off people who don't agree with them yet they claim to be the tolerant ones. I've had a few of those lost "friendships".
If they quite their friendship over who you vote for, they aren't real friends.
