Loss of friends

I have recently lost 3 good friends due to who I voted for. I’ve known these 3 ladies for 18 years and we were very close. I can’t tell you how shocked I was, and sad. They have known for years who o supported, but this year they decided to cut ties with me bc their candidate lost. Anyone else gone through this?

They weren't worthy friends then, I have a Dear Friend in northern California I call Brother, him and I clash on politics all the time, but at the end if the day we still have like minded ideals and interests in other areas and still get along very well.
