@LeopoldBloom in many cultures age gaps are more common than closer in age relationships im only 13 months younger than my husband and our age difference is very unusally short

@Mountainlady16 Larger age gaps tend to be more common in traditional cultures, where the man is expected to have attained a degree of wealth and stability before he gets married. And of course he wants to marry a younger woman who has more child-bearing years ahead of her. As societies become more developed and urbanized, age gap relationships are less common as these factors don't exist.
