It depends on the society that you are living in. As a 45 year old man, I would find it socially uncomfortable being with a 20-something woman, despite being attracted to this age bracket. I am in a conservative society (by choice), and I need to adapt.
Also, the generational gap has different ideas, the modern "youngsters" are glued to their phones, while the older generation not so much.
