It comes down to what men value in women which are youth beauty fertility and purity.
One of the most important things to a man is to ensure paternity. He can't do that with a promiscuous woman without doubt.
Past behaviour is a good indicator of what to expect in the future. Yes some people can change but there's a saying, [i]can't turn a hoe into a housewife[/i] .
It matters because most men determine whether they want to wife a women or not based on that knowledge. Much like how I imagine you wouldn't want a man with a criminal past, men don't want a woman that gotten around.
The higher a womens body count the greater the risk of divorce.
Plenty good reasons.
