I had that experience once. We agreed to meet at a coffee shop. I showed up 10 minutes early thinking I would beat her to the coffee shop. I did not see the woman I was talking to via the internet anywhere in site. So, I went and ordered myself a coffee. As I did a woman quite the opposite of her profile picture got up from a table a stood next to me staring at me and smiling. I was like Damn; I am here to meet the woman from the internet, and I have one coming onto me here and now. So, I turned to her the woman and told her I was there to meet a woman for the first time from the internet, and that I would have to pass on her flirting. She exclaimed I know I am the woman you were supposed to meet from the internet she said she recognized me as soon as I walked into the coffee shop from the parking lot, because I looked exactly like my profile picture. Without me saying a word she added she was sorry that she used a model's picture that she knew personally, and could we sit and talk. I sat and talked politely with her and after 35 to 45 minutes later I told her I was not interested any further, and that I do not like being deceived into meeting someone. That is why I chose a public coffee shop in the middle of the day to meet, so either person could leave safely without any issues. She followed me out and asked for a kiss, and I declined a kiss, and she insisted we hugged, so I gave her the friendship hug with a stand-offish form and hand pats at best. She exclaimed "Oh, the friendship hug" and I replied "Yeah, at best". Then I left driving all over the place to make sure I was not followed home by the woman.
If you use a model's picture and hair eye and stats, then be that person. Do not show up looking different unkept, heavy and way older than you represented yourself as to be. That is when I quit dating sites.
