Is “race play” common?

May sound weird but I was just curious if people have thoughts on this. My boyfriend is black and I am white. Been together for a good amount of time. He’s always been a bit more risqué in the bedroom, but certain comments have become more frequent and edgy. I’m not bothered or anything bad, but I can’t help but laugh or blush sometimes especially if I try to join in. Do others have similar experiences too? Thanks!
