Monogamy only exists until you decide that it no longer applies to you, at which point monogamy ceases to exist if we then seek a new partner. Monogamy isn't about what everyone else is doing, monogamy is only about you and what you're doing in your own personal reality.
Personally I prefer to devote myself to one person, so I know it exists. I can't be the only one!
