Do u ever think about getting married if not, why?

İ think getting married is so stupid. Like, why would anyone with a brain even wanna get married? I don't get why you'd have to tie your life, freedom, and future to someone else. ppl can love each other, live together, and stay loyal without getting married, so why do they even need to make it official? besides, ppl change over time, feelings fade, and sometimes even the person u trust the most can become a complete stranger. getting married just cuz society expects u to or cuz you're afraid of being alone seems pointless to me. I think what matters isn't getting married, but being able to live your own life and genuinely be happy

I don't have anything against it, but it's just not for me at this point in my life. Right now I live a life of true independence. A total and uncompromising freedom I do enjoy. I get to do what I want, when I want, how I want and with who I want. Free to explore without limitations. Total control of my time; no checking in, negotiating plans. I can make spontaneous decisions without any relationship labor. It's great I love it. Maybe reality will kick me in the ass a decade from now, but right now I don't want anything to change.

I was never cut out for marriage…
I am married ...it's not for everyone...but it's not something I'd do again ...with marriage...it is hard work and both people need to.be all in to working out any problems that will occur ...if not ...it just won't work ...people change ...even in a marriage...it takes someone to allow space to grow in that marriage and not everyone is ok with that change ....

It would take an incredibly rare connection and more for me to even consider marriage. I refused to marry my children’s father and I will NEVER regret that.

Depends who you marry.

If she has a 7+ digits bank account and wants to pull me out of the workforce to bring me to spas, hotels, ski resorts it'd be dumber to remain single

I’m not looking to get married

But, if I’m ever in an ideal situation where it’s the smartest thing to do….then I would

I almost got married but it didnt go through. Not sure if i will ever marry now. Everything i worked hard for can be at least half taken if she decided to leave. If i had someone who was there to help build when I was starting off than yeah. However that never happened.

I’ve been happily married 30 years, but it’s not for everyone. To each their own…

Just because it's not for you, it doesn't mean it's stupid. What does it say about you, when you conclude that only the option you approve is legitimate and everything else is either societal pressure, social fear, or stupid.

At least wait until you're an adult, and can form complete sentences, before you condemn the rest of the world.
