No. Everyone else is 14 or younger pretending to be older.
If you remember Batman when it was originally on TV, you can't be 14. 😉

@SomeMichGuy Yes. In the UK in 1963.. I remember an early episode was interrupted with the news that JFK was shot in Dallas...😷

@whowasthatmaskedman No, sorry.
JFK was pronounced dead at 1 PM US Central Time on 22 November 1963; Walter Cronkite reported this 38 minutes later on the CBS television network. (See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Cronkite in the "Historic Moments" section, and https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_the_John_F._Kennedy_assassination)
The first episode of Dr Who--An Unearthly Child--aired on 23 November 1963 in the UK. (See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Doctor_Who_episodes_(1963%E2%80%931989))
Undoubtedly, the BBC announced it on the day it happened, soon after Walter Cronkite reported it (at the latest); or the day before the first episode of Dr Who aired.
There were other events related to the assassination which might well have interrupted Dr Who, but Oswald's shooting was in the late morning of 24 Nov., and JFK's funeral & burial was on 25 Nov. (The second episode of Dr Who--The Cave of Skulls--aired on 30 Nov.)

@whowasthatmaskedman Yes, and not far enough off of US Central Time for afternoon of 22 Nov in the US to correspond to 23 Nov in the UK.
I bet these big events, so close together, got conflated in your memory: two shocking shootings on the days on either side of the premier episode of Dr Who--you couldn't ever expect THAT!
