Why do people watch these real housewives shows? I'm supposed to relate to these rich entitled women how?

I'm the child of immigrant parents who owned a restaurant. I'm not rich or have ever been rich. I got stuck working in their restaurant growing up. Did i get paid? No! It was just expected of me. I can't relate to some rich lady who never worked a day in their life and just married rich and popped out kids to secure the bag. I don't have any respect for people like that because they didnt work for what they got.

Yeah, I never understood that either. Same with shows like The Kardashians or whatever tf it's called. Just why? What is the appeal? Hilariously enough, those I have asked that couldn't give me an answer. What does that tell you?

@Ducky They have to be because unlike traditional celebs they don't really have all that much talent to display, hence the whole "leaked" footage phase of it in the beginning of the whole reality stars thing where sextapes were deliberately leaked to create buzz around the individual. Reality tv really began with shows like survivor, but the Kardashians style shows took off once leaking nudes became a thing.
