So in India Supreme court held that all women are entitled to abortion upto 24 weeks, irrespective of marital status, without 3rd party intervention

Court said, whatever the reason is, it's upto women if they want to terminate pregnancy and she's legally protected and entitled to have safe abortion. No one else, except doctor ofcourse, has any say on this. They also said, if a married women is forced to maintain pregnancy against her will, it could be treated as marital rape.

Guess India won't remain a baby factory anymore. 🤔

India has been trying to reduce its population for many decades to help reduce the incredible rate of poverty.
There was a time when men could opt for free vasectomies; strong incentives were offered.
It didn't work very well. Too many prefered to retain the ability to sire even if they couldn't afford to feed their kids.

@SW-User I have nothing to say to you.

@Ducky Oh, why's that?

Great! Women in India can abort a baby that is way past its embryo stage and that they can feel kick and move.

Such progress!

Maybe stick to carpentry in the future.

@Glassysky I disagree.

Every baby has a place in the world 💕

Voluntary family control is the only ethical way to start bringing down the global population.
Three problems cause climate change:
1. the 4 main greenhouse gases spewed out by human industrial scale activities,
2. human population increase,
3. and a belief that profit is necessary.

that would curb illegal and unsafe abortions, but there's still a lot of awareness and support system required around that.

Factory ? they are not manufacturing babies.

😡

One step forward!

India is now ahead of the United States in terms of upholding women’s reproductive rights.

How about that !
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
I feel like they should focus on making the cast system illegal before this
SW-User
@MartinTheFirst It's never going to happen.
😞
