If you had a child, what zodiac sign do you want your first child to have (only the Sun signs)?
And what zodiac sign do you want your second child to have? Why? Pisces or virgo would be good (my sun and rising). Please not gemini or libra. I've had my fill of these 2, even though many people dear to me are. Leos I know how to get along with and do very much respect, but we're quite different in our preferences and style of communication. All 3 can have a showiness about them. My sisters, even cousins who are like sisters, are all geminis/ libras and my first relationship was with a libra. They're too interested in the superficial and they're materialistic. They're guarded with their emotions when I wear mine on my sleeve for the most part. Not that pisces are perfect. Pisces tend to always have their head up in the clouds.
I wanted an Aries (Aries Sun and Rising). My first is a Cancer - on the cusp of Leo. Sweetest little girl in the world. I’ll make sure she grows up to be a badass. Im pregnant with my second right now (just found out) and the due date is August 11th so pretty sure this one will be a Leo.
I had an Aquarius. I willed for her to be an Aquarius over a Capricorn because I figured I'd have a better chance at understanding her seeing as I'm Aquarius Rising & Aquarius Moon 🤪
I'd say a Taurus, I feel like they won't let other people rule over them, and I don't want my child to get bullied or feel vulnerable. Plus I think Taurus are cool.
I don't really mind any sign as my child, but I guess a Taurus or an Aquarius would be chill. I believe the best is an Aquarius. They will listen to you, help you see the logical side when you are thinking crazy, they are the most loyal friends, and yeah, they have emotions. For first child it's a tie between Capricorn and Pisces, for second maybe a Leo or Gemini :)
I feel like everyone always forgets about Libras. Dating and ... zodiac compatibility??
Have you ever looked at zodiac signs to determine compatibility? I never really thought of myself as a huge true believer but then I do screen a little bit based on this.
And I KNOW how ridiculous that sounds. For example I'm looking at a profile of someone who is Capricorn and I'm Sagittarius. Not a good match in the astrological world.
But if I were on another dating app or IRL I wouldn't know so why would I let it hold me back? I won't. More curious to hear people's experiences if they pay attention to the zodiac signs! And they are on some dating apps for a reason. I've only ever looked at it as a source of amusement, really. Apparently, mine and my current crush's signs are fairly compatible, for whatever that's worth ;) Somehow, I don't think that's a strong thing to bring to the table as an argument in our favor, though.
I might have a passing curiousity about it, but nothing more. I wouldn't begrudge someone for seeing some entertainment value in it. But when it starts to creep into basing life changing decisions on it, I'm sorry, it's a bit much for me. I'm a sagittarius BTW, where my Aries, Leo and Aquarius ladies at! Haha, jk. I had to Google that. ;)
I've dated women who weren't big love matches by zodiac signs but I already felt that there were limitations. I've really been in love two times and with both, they were\are recommended zodiac love matches. I'm a Leo so my best bets are Aries, Gemini, Libra and Sagittarius. My ex-wife is a Sagittarius. My gf is an Aries. I've never dated Gemini or Libra. So, I don't know why it lines up that way for me. I find it interesting.
I do give some additional leeway/preference to those with a highly compatible sun sign, but I don't let it stop me from going out with people. That said, as an earth sign, I have noticed trends that generally follow my ideal compatibility - other earth signs are easy company, water signs are either instant sparks or nothing, air signs are better as friends, and fire signs rarely make it past the first date.
I never used to pay attention to this but after the huge fall out with my ex-fiancé, I started to put a little more faith in it. I come from a culture where before you get married the parents like to match your DOB, time of birth, city of birth, and time of birth and have your family priest match these to see how compatible you are on 26 major issues of compatibility. My parents' matched perfectly. My ex and I did not match on one. It's something I didn't believe in before but I have more faith now. I also matched our zodiac signs and we weren't compatible but I ignored it for years. Now I'm talking to a guy and we have these amazing, deep conversations where so much of our convo blows me away with how much we have in common. We have checked a variety of sources on our astrological signs and we match pretty well and our Myers Briggs personalities also match well. I can't say that I am going to base the future of our relationship on just this and I understand how something like this can be very misleading, but it seems silly to completely ignore it.
That's so hilarious... I actually matched with a Capricorn not too long ago who was my Highschool crush and we really hit it off . At least in my mind, conversation never really stagnated, we just got each other and then I guess I was ghosted. Then just the other day I matched with another guy( also a Capricorn), we met and had a conversation I just did not want to end ! He was a Capricorn too and we (again ) really hit it off. I guess I'll see how this turns out. OH but yea, obviously never limit yourself when choosing a partner. I am more of the mindset of trying things out for a bit before making any hasty judgments. If I have any reservations about someone , I would rather have them affirmed by the other person. I just started seeing this girl and she’s a Virgo I’m an Aquarius. Every compatibility thing I look at basically says we are the worst match for each other legit the worst side of the spectrum on both ends. It says that we are doomed and destined to explode. I know that it could be bullshit but it’s honestly making me have doubts because of just how much it says we aren’t good for each other. Am I crazy for thinking this? I just don’t want to jump into something and then be like damn.... should have just listened to google.
