The grass is always greener on the other side... I bet that there are some people who would rather be single and without children.

There are a lot of articles about this very thing. So yes, what you feel is normal.
People do tend to make their lives look perfect on social media.
Keep in mind though that photos and all that stuff does not tell the whole story.
Give it about 10 years when all their perfect lives turn to hell.
Divorces, those cute kids will be rotten teenagers, A "family trip" will mean going to the food stamp or child support office...
You see, during one's 20's it seems like others have it so great and some people think their lives are perfect but about the time mid-30's hits, things fall apart.
No one my age is on social media showing off their lives.
Just trust me on this - One day their perfect lives will crumble and you will enjoy watching it :D

@DeecemberGirl People that show off their "perfect" lives though - they are often more messed up than what they are leading others to believe.
People want only to show the good news, never the bad.
It seems that people aged 25 to 30 often want all that family stuff, that is very normal. There comes a time though when one doesn't want to be saddled with all that responsibility.
The other day I made a thread about that if you care to glance through that.
