I Am Married

I've been married for about a year, but I'm still struggling with knowing how to be. I've been very reclusive because I don't know.

Before I got married I was a very sexually open person, but that doesn't meld well into being a happily married woman. Moving to be with my husband, I'm in a new city in a new state. I have a blank slate and can really change the person perceive me as, but I don't know who I want that to be and I don't know essentially who I should be.

I'm a little lost and confused. I'm very happy with my husband, but currently I don't have any friends where I live and occasionally it's lonely. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Be yourself. Don't worry about becoming a certain someone. Friends will come in time. Once you become comfortable and confident in yourself your personality will magnify others.

A hobby is what u need... And find friends through the hobby..

Since u said sexually open was a description of urself... u have to find social outlets in other ways...make friends based on that
Why not just join some clubs/organizations with interests you share?

Part of the problem is I don't know what parts of my past I want to bring forward with me. I've had a speckled past and this is my chance to blend in, but I'm also not ashamed of my past even with the blemishes, so I'm left confused on what to do.
