Same can be said about men.
But true, for women and men, the need for attention from more than one is a signature of emotional inmaturity (while is not when from only one).
And it make take apparently contradictory forms and still be deeply the same.

@Magenta Yup.
Even so, as the idea that "value comes from within" is no more than a a frivolous mantra, I see as quite mature to seek and get attention from a partner.
Emotional exhibitionism to the "opposite" gender (no matter the "harmless" way it´s expresed) just says that someone may not be ready for a relationship, and probably never will.

I've never been on one, but I believe that. Probably pretty typical in the social media era.
Why do you use dating sites then? 0__0

@Dewms I don't

That really sounds like a jealous rant. I’m sorry but when someone really likes you and are all that into you, they will let SM sites go cause they won’t have time for them!
Shapeshifter · 36-40, M
@SW-User perhaps, perhaps not. People love attention.

@Shapeshifter yes but most people don’t take this place serious about dating.... but trust me when they are really into you, nobody else can hold a candle.... it’s you they will look for... its you they want to talk to and hear from...

I would agree, although I still might date one.
