I Am Married But Lonely

My husband has a woman he is spiritually and emotionally connected to. They've been through hell and back with their "friendship", and she's treated him like crap. He stopped talking to her, but then started again. I asked him to stop because it's obviously bothering me...and he said he would stop but then "he'd resent me for it." :( It's so hard and I feel defeated.

I am him. I work with a 41 YOF whos attractive. her husband passed and I have been her strength to get through. My wife is aware and feels threatened by her. We can talk about ANYTHING .I mean ANYTHING. I have never strayed from my wife since high school days.
My wife says she lost her best friend to someone else. I disagree.
But this is stressful to all involved at times. I just helped her move last week.
