Married and Lonely [I Am Married and Yet Lonely]

My wife is working from home, more stressed than ever. I have been helping with kids and house stuff, but there is no time for two of us. Could really use an outlet.

Escape into an ‘online relationship’ on here but always bear in mind it’ll end in tears sooner or later and will just highlight even more the cracks in your relationship with your wife.

This! Honestly I find that I have a great life that is calm and stable. People here are crazy and it’s way too much drama. I’d rather eat than have hurt feelings personally. @TopOfTheWorld
@Keepitsimple I agree with you. Sadly what starts out seeming such an appealing diversion so often ends up leaving those involved feeling hollow, empty or bitterly disappointed. Of course that can happen with irl relationships too but as a straight comparison, an online relationship is a very poor substitute for a real life loving intimate one.

@TopOfTheWorld conceptually I agree.
@Cgabe070 sorry you’re having a hard time , I hope you can find the right path forward to make things happier at home.

@TopOfTheWorld Too many games. I don’t think people are looking for connecting with somebody as much as a quickie sex talk session which is stupid.

@TopOfTheWorld I agree with all you said. It don't end well, and online is very poor substitute for the real thing. In the end it's just fantasy land. Why anyone would want someone online rather than a real warm bleeding person, is weird to me. I'd rather have someone I can actual touch.
