I Am Married But Lonely

My ring doesn't always fit every day, so a few years ago I bought a cheap one as a backup. My wife despises it because it isn't the one she bought. Funny thing is, it's the only one I get compliments on. I can wear my original one more now, which she's been happy about, but today she said she took hers off for now because they can hold germs. We're not that close right now, I sleep on the couch, we have no intimacy and she's rarely affectionate toward me as I am her. But despite all that, her taking her rings off really bothered me.
