Here come the bride(s) ...
Some of you already know that I'm about to embark on a new phase of life. And having been here on EP/SW for thirteen and a half years, I've shared quite a few "phases of life" with you all.
But this is a big one.
On Friday, at around sunset, I will be exchanging vows with the love of my life on the beach. 👰♀👰♀ No, not the beach back home on Cape Cod. That would be a bit cold (and crazy) this time of year. We planned a destination wedding so we and a small group of close friends and family are down here in the Caribbean (no, not anywhere near Venezuela). 🏖🌴🐬
My soon-to-be wife and I wanted a small, quiet wedding surrounded by the people closest to us. Our Moms wanted the opposite. So we compromised. This week down here followed by the big reception back home in a few weeks.
But, yeah, in about 54 hours, I will be a married woman! 💍 Hard to believe, huh? It is for me.
In part, this post is an explanation for why I will be here a LOT less this week and next week. If you are missing all my little hearts on your posts this week, just know that I am relaxing on a beach soaking up the sun where it is currently 82°F (29°C). 😁
