Have you ever proposed (marriage) or been proposed to?
If you're a man, do you initiate it?
If you're a woman, do you initiate it?
I've not been married nor have I wanted to propose to either of my ex's, and I've never met a woman who said or would admit to being the initiator of a marriage proposal. But apparently some women are the initiators (even in regular man/woman relationships).
If you get proposed to, do you automatically just accept out of habit/conditioning?
If you initiate a proposal, and you get rejected, how does that make you feel? How do you recover your self-esteem/worth/confidence and move on and what happens with the relationship you've been working on?
