Marriage is an intimate relationship between two people who love one another and vow to try their utmost to love one another til death. It is individual between a man and a woman. Others are called unions. One always hopes to be married until death. Doesn't always work out that way. It takes commitment, loyalty, strength, open communication, honesty, a great sense of humour, etc. I believe in marriage. Many get divorced and let themselves be closed to the option of finding love again. That is sad to give someone that power.

@PoetryNEmotion No easy to find the perfect partner!! You have to fight!!! Sometimes I'm tired 😩 of being deceived again and again...

@PoetryNEmotion in sime cases I do think it could be more than one other person. The Olson Twins (cojoined) are now married to one man. Abraham had more than one wife. Muhammed had 12. Genghis Kahn (1162-1227) had at least fourteen wives of high rank whose names we know. There were many lesser wives as well. Only the four sons of his first wife, Börte, were considered to succeed him. That was probably a good idea because it is estimated he had another 500 concubines who also bore him children. SOLOMON HAD 700 wives and 300 concubines!
@Hougal There is no perfect partner. Stop dreaming. Try choosing someone different than you have. Break your unsuccessful patterns.
@Tastyfrzz I think it would be hard enough to sustain a successful, happy marriage between a couple. More than that is just a fantasy. There would be too much stress, competition (especially between women who fight over men, stupidly), and drama. Try one person. The number of polygamist marriages that are successful are low from what I know.

@PoetryNEmotion was married for 13 years. Not likely going to do that again. Would rather fly a kite in a thunderstorm.
@Tastyfrzz That is too bad. You let someone hold that power over you. Your heart is closed. I was married once too. I have an open heart. We do not need to debate this.
