There's nothing wrong with remaining single.
You would go through a long phase where some of your friends are preoccupied with raising families while others struggle with divorce and co-parenting - and eventually those become grandparents.
It can be easier to have friendships with others who are also single. They have more time.
There are pros and cons for both ways of life, and I think in the end they probably come out equal -
though that probably depends on what you value most.

I agree, it makes sense if you have kids, maybe, but I don’t see the point. Locking yourself into a situation with the threat of losing so much just to prove you are committed to someone seems like a way to outsource doing the hard work of keeping a relationship healthy. Not a lot of people are working on themselves, are self aware, or have healthy support systems that encourage marriage these days. Plus the divorce rate is super high, and mostly initiated by women according to the internet and statistics.

Nope, not wrong. It is a big commitment and every commitment comes with strings that curb one's freedom. Choosing a compatible partner with similar life goals and lifestyle preferences does reduce that effect though.

Just don't marry. It's your prerogative. Just make sure you are very clear about that when going into a relationship.

Nothing wrong. I think marriage is outdated and not needed in today's society. No point in risking half of my stuff on someone who might change their mind in the future
