Is anyone truly happy in a marriage?

Those lovey dovey messages on social media is such farce. If you love someone there's no need to display it to the world. I know of men who did that on facebook and insta when they were hitting on me at my workplace. I'm sure their wives had no idea what they did behind their backs.

Exceptions can be there. I was going to get married but it was called off. My sister has not been happy at all in her marriage and not too far from now they will be separated and eventually divorced.

This has a significant impact on kids. And i never wanted to destroy a kid's innocent mind when i knew i am not capable to handle a relationship if i ever experience infidelity and betrayal. Sure, there could be some honest men but i never found them when i used to date.

That's needle in a haystack.

I'm happy that i chose to remain single.

I understand what you mean. I'm happily married to my wife and we're both in an open relationship - we both work in the sex industry - and never feel the need to gush about our relationship all on social media.

We're pretty private. Keep ourselves to ourselves. Happy in the knowledge that we do love each other and that's all that matters - we know, but does it really matter if other people know or not?

I'm not going to lose sleep over that question.
