Murders would be up, given the numbers of us stuck with abusers and unable to escape.
The Catholic Church doesn't acknowledge divorce and people feel like they have to choose between their faith and their life in some cases.
Admittedly, the anullment process is there - but that feels scary and intimidating when you know that you have no one who is prepared to go in there and be your witness.
