it’s just a piece of paper 🤷‍♀️

@Pineapple I disagree, but that is me.

With the right person, it is an amazing blessing. I suppose if it’s the wrong person it would be a curse.
I don't think anyone can judge all marriages based on ones that didn't work out. I would like people to be open and to not give power to those people who have hurt us or abused us in marriage. I say my heart is open. That is why I am open to marriage again.

Blessing if you really take the time to choose someone you can love and like... so many people settle for people who are incompatible or who aren't nice.. You have to choose wisely.. make sure they deserve your time and your heart.
I would think it is a blessing if it is true love. And a curse if one or both individuals isn't committed to working hard on it and to loving honestly and completely.

Whatever you make it. It is a partnership, so you have half the responsibility of forging the best one possible.

Marriage is more of a blessing than a curse.
It does change you, even if you have been living together for years.

Warning: "A man chases a woman till *she* catches him"
Fact: "Until things change, you will only get more of the same"
Advice? Go to a marriage counselor *before* you get married. Going to one afterwards is like going to drivers ed after a bad car accident.
No the marriage counselor will not laugh. Yes they will help.

Get married before having kids, it makes things easier.
When you find the right person, you just may want to marry them. Good luck.

Most of the people I know consider it a curse. It's like the excuse to give up trying in a relationship.

Getting married is the most obvious way to open the gates of Hell but there is no saviour or god to pray to to get you out of it, just dark, dank, desolation.
