I Support Gay Marriage [Gay Marriage]

The facts about gay marriage are these: Marriage was given to us by the God of the universe. It was meant to be between a man and a woman. People have freedom to do what they want to , but thinking that marriage is anything other than what God gave to man, that would be rebellion against God to think you can change the rules that God put in place. This is not hatred or bigotry or anything else to believe that it is anything other than the way God set it up. People will answer to God for the way they deal with this. Not anybody else. Not my opinion- it's God's Word.

Isn't it rather disingenuous to state that people have freedom then deny them those freedoms that do not actually harm you, but undermine what you believe one particular deity wants?

Yes, you could argue for marriage between male and female as the human social construction regulating our natural mating instincts; historically it has long been given a religious veneer for church-authority purposes, with parallels in many religions, not just Judaeo-Christianity; you might believe in M/F "holy matrimony"...

... but the same-sex couples are not attacking your version of marriage, so why attack theirs?

As for Biblical quotes... they merely repeat the beliefs of a Late Bronze Age to Roman Empire, originally-tribal, society in a small part of the Middle East. They don't prove anything other than their own existence as ancient beliefs.

"rule... for 1000 years" Hmmm.
