Have you ever taken a nocturnal nap?

My wife used to do this, she didn’t want to sleep for the whole night, but she needed a bit of shut eye… it was so weird and so funny to me the concept of nocturnal naps😂😂😂 I never heard anybody say this apart from her

Back in medieval times. They would go for a nap when in it got dark. Wake up and potter around for a bit, meet up with friends whatever. Then lay back down again for a few hours before dawn.
