My wife comes home today after being gone a week to visit her family

I hate to admit it, but I feel lost when she’s not around. Even though we’re estranged and don’t get along, I still love her. I had Desmond keeping me company all week and I still felt that way. I guess my heart’s just too big. I need both of my loves and don’t feel complete without them.

I’ll just be glad once she’s home. Hopefully us getting along lasts. If not, at least she won’t be far. Ridiculous as that might sound, but it’s just how I feel.
