I Believe Long Distance Relationship Can Work

Love has no boundaries unless the participant(s) do.
I suggest you try one. Then come back and tell me what you think. The reality.

@PoetryNEmotion ive been in plenty and they were as wonderful as regular relationships. Of course they're much different. But its my opinion and i respect yours.
@Romxnce I wish to clarify. I define them as relationships from a great distance where one never meets in person. They are not sustaining. Eventually two must meet or it is deep friendship only. I am sure this is a form of love, but not the one I seek. Online friends do meet some love requirements, but rare indeed is one that lasts a lifetime. That is the kind of love people think of when they think LDR.
I would not bet on it. You are kidding yourself if you think otherwise. Sorry

True. It is rare but rewarding when it happens.

lot of participants lack the patience, sadly enough.

They in real life of course can be much more complicated. They are terribly weighing emotionally. You can feel so isolated & lonely. Frustrated & incomplete. But when survived a relationship that can succeed in long distance does have a strength to it as well.
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit marriages is dif you are married so the ease of drifting wont happen -

@MarmeeMarch why would drifting not occur in marriage but outside of it?
