Hi! I represent LYON Business School. I would like to inquire anyone of you would be interested in taking part in a scientific research project. The objective of this study is to explore how intercultural couples handle and establish harmony between their work and family responsibilities, despite their cultural variances. Please note that any information collected during the study will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and you don’t have to state your identity. The study will involve an audio interview only. If you are interested in participating, just message me where I can send your official invitation. Thank you for your time, and I hope you will consider our invitation. Take care!

Is it legit? Like did you get IRB approval?
martyjay · 46-50, M
@CheshireAzur was thinking the same thing!

@CheshireAzur Hi Cheshire, the school is based on France ,the invitation letter should suffice all of your questions.
CheshireAzur · 36-40, F
@Mavancelyons Can you copy and paste your discloser. You know "bill of rights"? Contact information?
Mavancelyons · 36-40, F
@CheshireAzur Are you talking about the participants or the letter?
CheshireAzur · 36-40, F
@Mavancelyons Your "research" is clearly not legit, if you have no idea what I am referring to.

Before any participant can agree, you are supposed to provide information about the study, who approved it, what does it intail, what information is collected, what is the purpose of the study, and contact information if I need to report something.
Mavancelyons · 36-40, F
@CheshireAzur I am in no position to make couples agree to anything here, I am just tasked to invite people, the one you mentioned is the task of the interviewer who are the researchers if ever they accept the invitation, the letter has enough information already, haven't you read it ?there is a contact info. Couples are allowed not to continue with the interview if ever they decide not to pursue it.
Mavancelyons · 36-40, F
@CheshireAzur @CheshireAzur The study is AACSB and Conference des Grandes Ecoles accredited. These are all included in the formal letter.
CheshireAzur · 36-40, F
@Mavancelyons Just by your relpy, "I am in no position to make couples agree."

A legit research that is approved by the appropriate department would have the "Terms of agreement".
Mavancelyons · 36-40, F
@CheshireAzur Which will be discussed once they are in contact with the researchers.❤️
